About Us

Forkright Films was founded in 2019 by Canadian Cinematographer and Video Editor Josh Diaz.

Dissatisfied with large production companies' high cost and formulaic approach, Diaz founded Forkright Films to make high-end cinematography accessible and approachable to organizations of all sizes.

This objective led to the creation of our motto...

Unreserved creativity, clearly captured.

The name Forkright Films is inspired by our professional approach to video production and our roots being in Winnipeg.

Originally inspired by the word "forthright," meaning "straightforward and honest," we altered the concept to include "Fork," speaking to the well-known intersection of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers in the heart of Winnipeg.
