How to Create a Portable Book Light

Hey, everyone. Josh here with Forkright Films. I’m here today to share a quick proof-of-concept video about a new setup I’m testing out called the ‘One Stand Booklight.’

Essentially, I’ve put together a system using one C-Stand that will allow you to create the same book light effect as a larger multi-stand system. This combination of equipment is aimed more at solo videographers and small crews for whom equipment space is a premium.

In this video, I’ll show you how to create the One Stand Booklight and share my thoughts on optimizing this setup moving forward.
